Friends:

Thank you!  I am grateful for the support you have shown me during this campaign.   It has been said that “Life is a journey, not a destination.”  Over the past 18 months, I have had the pleasure of realizing this quote to the fullest.  While I may not have been successful in this bid for the Nevada Legislature, I am a better person for having traveled this long and arduous road.  I firmly believe that character is defined by overcoming obstacles.

I must first thank my loving and supportive wife, Katie.  Katie not only agreed to let me pursue this challenge, but she was my constant motivation along the way.  I could not have done this without her and for that, I am eternally indebted. 

As hard as it may be to believe, there is a good chance that you had no idea who I was 18 months ago.  Thank you for taking the time to meet with me and listen to my views on how we can work together to make Nevada the example of excellence it ought to be.  I absolutely could not have made it this far without your generous support.  From your time to your financial contributions, this was truly your campaign as well.  I hope that our relationship is only beginning because Nevada needs people, across the spectrum, working together with a common yet profound purpose of improving the lives of all Nevadans.

I will cherish the many lessons I learned on this campaign.  My life has been touched by each and everyone that I have met along the way.  I cannot say it loudly and often enough—thank you!
